Sounds like a exhaust leak, you should be able to hear it with your hood up,giving it a little throttle from under the hood, and also smell exhaust from under the hood and when you run the heater inside the car as long as its not windy and blowing it back towards the front of the car.It wont hurt anything though, but you might want to try tightning the bolts back up were connects to the headers and at cat-back.So you dont have to smell it inside the car as much and hear the ticking noise.

IS this a 03/04 cobra that you put the offroad pipe on? Are you getting a popping noise when you get off the gas, kind of like a small back fire( popping). I bet you may have a exhaust leak or one of your gaskets needs replacement. That what happened to me when I put a MAc Prochamber on my supercharged GT. Mac gives you these paper gaskets, and it took me all of one day to wear the gasket out. I just bought a Mac offroad h-pipe for my 2003 cobra and I have yet to put it on. I hope it is not to loud with my flowmaster catback. I would follow the instructions 03yellowvenom gave you.
