H Pipe Installed

Just got it in today. Oh man do I have a headache (in a good way), lol. It's a lot louder than I expected.

On the way back from the shop that ordered and installed it for me, about 5 different cops were behind me at 5 different times. I was like, crap it would totally suck if they pulled me over.

The H and these flowpaths sound amazing together. I'll make a small clip and post it up soon.

Yeah, and they only charged 40 bucks, not bad. But I think its good as it is. I sort of miss my quieter stang, lol. But she's a beast now, its great.

The 4 clogged cats connected to it . Get rid of those and the sound is amazing and hp gain that come along with it is a plus.

I get it! Off road H pipe!

I'm afraid I need my cats for emissions in Nashville...or no tags.

Find a friend if you want to try installing one at home. I have mine about in but the smog pump tube is killin' me. I wish I had about 4 more hands.

Anybody have an offroad H with the factory exhaust? How's the sound?

Keep the stock one and when emissions time rolls around swap it back in or pay extra and get one with high flow cats.

As white stang said, those 4 clogged cats totally kill power. If you do decide to go with an offroad, shine a flashlight through the factory H, just imagine all that power loss.

You think I'd still pass emissions with
a single set of hi-flow cats??

On my way back, i got tons of head turns, but most of them weren't good, lol. Old people who don't appreciate a fast good sounding car when they hear it. But I know when i go back to school on monday, my friends will be stoked.

hmm, well ya know technically if you put that right foot on a diet with the off road pipe and a catback you'd get better gas mileage then stock
