H&R Sport or SuperSport springs?

Ive been planning on buying the supersport springs but ive seen a few pics and it seems really low, almost too low. Would the sports be a bit better, would ride quality stay the same between the two? Also if i still end up getting the SS would spring isolators raise it up a bit?

I would get the supersports. The drop is PERFECT if you leave the isolators in. Make sure you have the right shocks/ struts set up as well. I found out that I didnt and the ride was compromised. Ill try to post a pic.

Should i replace the stock shocks/struts, or will stock work?

The H&R SS springs are pretty taxing on the shocks, so ride quality will go to hell and they'll blow out quickly. I'd do it right the first time and spend money on top quality shocks/struts, like Bilstein.

You have spring isolators in right now (top and bottom of each spring), but they'll be pretty worn out. Some people choose to go for urethane isolators which are alot tougher, and some people choose to not even put on any isolators at all to get an extra .25 inch or so of drop.

www.maximummotorsports.com sells the urethane isolators and have nice suspension packages as well as good info.

Would removing the isolators be considered bad for the car? Also does the suspention become more noisy when they are removed? (.25 more of a drop would be a nice thing for my eibach-pro's )

H&R Supersports are pretty low. I have Bilstein shocks/struts and urethane isolators and I'm still extremely low for most roads. I almost feel like swapping up to Sports instead but damn the SSs are so nice looking.

The front is a little lower than the rear but I have around a three inch clearance in my under-carriage. Think about it.

BTW, yes new urethane isolators will bring you back up maybe 1/4". Sports will have a bit better ride. Supersports are stiff as hell but being that low you need that. I do love them though. I can't tell you how many times every day I get people staring at my car and giving me compliments. My pictures don't do my car any justice. It's hot and people love it. They're not sure why it stands out or looks so much better than the other ones of this style but they just know it looks hot and it is...

So true. I've received more thumbs up from strangers in the past 2 months that I've had my SS on than in the 2 previous years I've owned the car . It gives the car an exotic look.

Just curious, Do you have the MAC prochamber with stock catback, Do you have a vid/sound clip of your set up? Also how is the clearance w. the PC and SS's

Man, I can really feel the love in this thread . Yes I just put in the Prochamber this Thursday past with the stock catback. Other than a strange sound when I first start accelerating which everyone says is normal for the Prochamber, the car sounds a little meaner and louder at higher RPM's. I don't want a car that's to loud and for me, it's just about right. The clearance is no problem. On my vert the front brace under the engine oil pan takes all the hits . By the way, I took it to the track Saturday and got a new best of [email protected] mph .
