Sal at Power Surge installed my steeda short shifter last night. First off if you are on here Sal, Thanks for staying so late to install this. I showed up at 8pm with a hot car and he got right to work with a piping hot exhaust in his way.
The install took less than 1 1/2 hours with him having to work around a hot exhaust/tranny and me yapping his ear off.
The shifts are just sick. the first time I put it in 1st gear I tried like 4 times because I did not think it was in gear because the throw was so short. We set it on the shortest shift setting and I love it. I would say the shift is shorter by at least 50% or more. It is a little tight getting into 5ht gear but I am sure it will losen up a little with time.
I also installed a Bassani catback last Friday in the pouring raing that I also got from PSP. The install was very simple and took me under 1 hour total. Only issue I had was there is a little bung or nut or something welded to the stock midpipe that the stock mufflers have a little cut int he pipe to fit around it that the bassani does not. I had to grind it off, not really a big deal just a pain in the but as it was the first time I used the grinder. The exhaust note is awesome now!!!
Overall I am extremly happy with the mods. I highly recommend the short shifter as it changes the drive so much.
Waiting on my custom intake and then I am going to get a tune.
