Hi to all ..........I have the Bassani x-pipe that you can change to either off road or with cats. I had the offroad set up installed and maybe its just me but it seems not to have the punch it did when I had the Bassani converters on. Does anyone know if running off road creates a loss of low end power and torque? It sounds real good but I just dont know if the sound is worth the power or torque if that is the case. Any answers are appreciated.

Did you re-tune for the o/r X ? I had the same problem, after the new tune the power picked back up and the sound is great!!

get a better tune from brendspeed or bamachips. An off road pipe will lower torque on a lightly modified n/a car, but not as you're describing. You need a better tune.

oh one more... if I were to pick one, I'd get a "torque" or "race" tune from doug@bama to get your low end back. everyone who has one of those tunes reports fantastic power all throughout, especially down in the low end.
