Douchebaggery at its finest. The moron wasn't even wearing a helmet - too bad he didn't get a nice case of road rash on that phallus-like appendage he calls a head. That'd be fun for the makeup folks to try to cover up (or for him to explain) before filming his next episode.

Gawd, I hate that guy...

Why does everyone hate him? He does what the show wants tries to get the guys negotiating into it with each other. I think no matter who is doing it, the people out in the real world wont like him!

No, it's just that he tries to act like such a Billy Badass, but he's just a scrawny little punk. He's too puny to act as buff as he makes himself out to be, for starters. He wears his shirts tight, shaves his head bald, and flexes those little stringy things he calls muscles, all in a desperate effort to try to emulate his hero, Mr. Clean. The guy can't weigh more than 150 lbs. soaking wet. George Carlin put it best when explaining why 9 times out of 10, white guys look stupid with bald heads: "You look like a walking D**K!"

Secondly, the way he's presented on the show like he's this know-all, do-all of drag racing is just laughable. What kind of credentials does this joker have? What, he was "involved in" this, or he was "a part of" that? If he was a genuine, bonafide multi-win NHRA champ like John Force, for example, that would be worth something to me. Give me Billy or Bob Glidden, or anyone else that's had a few wins in Pro 5.0, regardless of whether or not they've got a bland on-screen persona - anyone that won't get out there and act like a know-it-all macho douche. If Rich was an ACTUAL street race authority of some sort, somebody that's got a legit rep for having hosted or run (and won) a buttload of street races, maybe he'd have something worthwhile to contribute. As it is, he's just some random asshat that Spike pulled off the street - probably a friend or relative of a producer or something, I dunno - and he's living up his multiple seasons of fame like a schmuck. (Can't say I blame him, though - I'm a talentless putz, myself, and I'd probably act the same way if given the chance, but that's beside the point. )

And thirdly, this has been discussed to death before, but the way the whole show is set up is just retarded. You don't "negotiate" for runs - you 'em line up, and you run what you brung. The only negotiating that needs to be done is deciding whether or not someone should take the chance of losing their car by racing against someone that totally outclasses them ... but hey, that's the whole point of the show, right? This childish bickering and whining over who left before tough-boy Rich dropped his hands, who gets how many car-lengths of a head start, who has to unhook their nitrous, etc. ... it's all just fuggin' douchebaggery, and Rich is their douchebag ringleader extraordinare.

Ahh its just reality Tv nobody takes it serious its just entertainment. Like that Guy from Mass. They had on there crying like a woman. He got owned. Calling People sandbaggers and what not. The show is just for laughs in my book.

I agree, car people will never like car shows. I dont watch Pinks unless I go online and grab an episode and agree the idea is dumb. personally its better than watching 99% of the other crap on TV.

Also remember, the camera can choose to use and not use stuff and make somone look however they want. The guy has admitted he doesnt know that much, and I guess I dont see him acting hard, but I dont really pay attention to him!

Oh well maybe the show will get cancelled and noone will have to complain anymore.

...because he brings out homo-erotic / homofobic thoughts..

I'm kidding but the way he struts around and wears tight cloths all the time is kind of annoying. I think they should have hired Jessica Simpson, since she had the role in Dukes of Hazzard, and she would look better in tight jeans and tight shirts.

I don't think he's a bad host. Yeah, he struts around like a banny rooster, but he does host the show well. It could have been much worse. Such as having a hollywood celeberty host it. What if that guy from "Full House" was hosting it (can't think of the name, he did America's funniest home videos" where he ruined it". Just think if MTV got to run it.

How about Tim Allen? How about MR T!!! Yeah.... I know "I pitty the fool who looses his ride".

Its funny but everyone doesnt need to attack him, it can happen to anyone... *shrugs*

Plus, Rich admits he doesnt really know anything about racing, and he just came up with the idea for the show, etc. What do you think Nate and Charles are for?

This is pretty much the best analysis ive ever seen of pinks. i agree with this statement completely. the problem is rich invented to concept of the show. i really do think that they should have someone with racing cred as a host. i wouldnt have a problem with the guy if he wasnt that guy, you know the guy that you see in public with the tshirt deliberately 2 sizes to small to look like he has some muscle. rich may be in "fit" shape, but good god dude you need to put on mass before you can act so ****in hard all the time. also, for christ sake enough of the negotiations already. the whole negotiation thing has always allowed some ******* with a much slower car an out to steal someone elses much nicer ride. plain and simple suck it up, run what you bring, if your afraid dont do it. enough of this lengths ****, i dont see how running with lengths is racing anymore. wasnt the whole point of racing to have cars all given an equal opportunity to cross the finish line first? how does giving some dude 20 lengths constitute who has a faster car or driver? i say let big daddy wayne gutridge or someone like him host the show, hes a succesful racer.
