The number one thing that has turned me away from pinks is exactly the way the races are rarley ever even. That time that idiot showed up with that POS FWD Olsmobile Cutlass to race agains a real car, and was asking for 50 lengths, complete BULLS***.
If I were to "match" the races on pinks I would:
Have two teams with equal budgets build a car and see which one is faster. It would be cool for TV because you could maby do a show about the buildup of the cars. Then the race would be the main event.
Have two teams that start with equally stock cars, one mods one way, the other mods another, with the same budget and see who wins (such as one nitrous team, one supercharger team) built upon that.
I used to street race, and we argues use of nitrous, where the finishing line was, the use of VHT but never "car lengths".
