Halo headrest problem

So i got my halos's yesterday.. I was going to put them in today.. I got the old headrests out.. It took 5 minutes. Went to put the halos's in. They dont fit its like the shaft is too wide. Anybody ever have this problem when they did this.?

I bet you had them turned backwards and couldn't get them in because of that right?

No i just wasnt pushing down hard enough.. And wasnt sure because to make them fit you have to take out that black plastic piece..

Does anyone know how to take out the plastic piece?
I cannot get it out!

I'm trying to install halo (black net) headrests from a SVO into my 93 lx seats

J/K just pull them out if you already have the old headrest's out. The plastic piece came out with my old headrest's
