I know this is a newbish type of question, but I'm just making sure:

When putting the H-pipe back on, do the flow tubes need to be under or over the tranny. crossmember?

It seems that they need to be over for the hangers to fit into the spots, but I remembered (long time ago) take the H-hipe off without messing with the tranny.

I realized at work that the cross member is upside down. I thought it was wrong when I put it on.....

Oh well, back it comes off.

Bear in mind that there is also a left and a right side to the crossmember - one hump's shorter than the other (possibly to leave room for the speed sensor/speedo cable). I think it's stamped on the crossmember, actually.

I see it now. I put it on really late, and I thought it was wrong. Now just have to get a big block of wood becuase my jack isn't tall enough to reach the tranny with the car on jack stands.
