Purchased a 93 GT which ran great for months (drove it 900 miles to new home) and daily thereafter for a 1000 miles.
Had the Cruise Control, PDR, Speedo, fixed and O/R H pipe installed, replacing
a Walker catted H, car still has smog. O/R had inlet for tube. Fine for a few days then:
Can occur at start up 2000 rpm but, usually coming to stop can rev down to 900 for a few seconds but, then most of the time goes to 2000 rpm. It will stay this way for over a minute, shut off, restart with 900 and eventually 2000 again.
Has a powerdyne 9 lb with 70mm Edelbrock, crane 2030 cam.
Is the H pipe without cats confusing a sensor particularly with smog still on car?
Do not think the Cruise fix had anything to do with this?
