Hard knocking sound comming from rear end???

Yesterday I noticed for some strange reason just out of no where in low gear ( In 1st ) this hard knocking and scraping sound came from my rear end.. I was puzzeld.. i do have a welded rear end and it does make noise when turning but thats normal.. this was different.

I would pull the cover and make sure the center pin isn't coming coming out of the carrier. Did you locktite the retaining bolt ?

Roll the car without the engine running see if its coming from one side or the other. Its probably a wheel bearing
