My 90 gt has a real harsh ride. The suspension is all stock. Since i live in jersey and the roads are all horrible and i was wondering if there is anything at all i can do to soften up the ride with out loosening up the feel of the car?

Just about anything will soften up the ride since your shocks, struts and bushings are probably toast.

You'll need to list your budget, what you want (if going to the straight or curvey track are in your plans), etc for the best recommendations.

Good luck.

i already ordered all the bushings shocks and struts, wondering if i should do the front springs as well. I have z rated tires but i dont really intend on changing them just bought em and it didnt seem to change the ride much from the h rated ones that were on it when i got the car

Sub frame connectors will also help smooth out the ride. Instead of the bumps being transfered throughout the sloppy unibody...the suspension is forced to work more independently and you get a smoother ride.

Springs arent going to do all that much for you in terms of softening it up. The lowest springs rate the better obviously (in terms of soft rides) but also make sure they are progressive rate.

The more you drop the car with springs...the more the suspension geometry is going to be off...so i would should for a 1" - 1.5" drop at most. Look at the ford spring kits. Good luck man
