here's the scoop. i have a 2003 mustang gt which i just converted to a 5 speed. i dropped in a tr3650 which is standard equipment. everything worked just fine to begin with.. as far shifting into gears and all but just last week i had to park the car.it is inpossible to get it into any gear. i figured i would replace the plastic quadrant with an aluminum plus an adjustable cable and firewall adapter. so i just installed this and still it has a hard time going into gear. it's like when i try to put it into gear it wants to make the car move .sort of like it never disingages.im kinda confused and out of ideas now. is it the fork?? any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

well..i thought i did. i adjust it from the firewall and would check the pedal travel. i did this for a while but didn't notice a drifference..but the pedal feels very hard when i press it down. i had perfect pedal play in the begining. but somewhere along the road i lost it when i try to adjust it on the plastic quadrant and so i bought the aluminum quadrant with the firewall adjuster thining i could take care of the problem but no luck

Did you route the clutch cable correctly when you reinstalled it? If it doesn't go through the motor mount (i think) it will feel as though it wont move.
