If your balancer has a groove wore in it this repair sleeve will fix it. I'm guessing that you have a leak at the front cover that won't go away?? Just use caution when installing it, they're kinda thin. Use a piece of wood and a rubber mallet, gave me the best results. (had a bowtie that needed one)

so does it fix a balancer that has the rubber coming out? or you still need to shell out 200 for a romac to fix the prob?

I got a Professional Products SFI approved balancer when my stocker started coming apart. I got a deal on it ($90) because TMD on ebay sent me a fluiddyne type balancer for the earlier Fox mustang instead of the one I ordered. They don't work on our 94-95 stangs. I like the one I have now. Should be less than the romac if you are on a budget. And, do you really want to try and rebuild the crappy stocker unit?

50 oz.

i went with this pioneer balancer from strokermotor.com ( http://www.strokermotor.com/DESCatalog/page-4-SFI.html )ioneer 872030 SFI SB Ford 50oz, Elastic Style w/Raised Pulley Location, Weighted $165.00.
cheaper than a romac, great quality, and it is sfi approved. plus, a lot of people have trouble installing their new balancers. my pioneer went on easier than a condom.
