Is there a difference between a harmonic balancer for a standard transmission vs. an automatic transmission?
I have a 2001 v6 with an automatic and when I purchased this vehicle they threw in another motor that was a manual configured for a manual transmission (I only know it was manual becuase I had to remove the pilot bearing), I rebuilt the other motor and got it installed a couple days ago it starts a runs great however it has a bad vibration and I am leaning towards it being the harmonic balancer. I put the balancer from the manual transmission on the motor that is now in the vehicle with an automatic transmission.
