not a fan either they do look good when done right, I took my tailpipes and had them bentdown ....Only problem I see with those bumper is when you hit a speed bemp or something else just right...you got a busted rear bumper I know because when I got my 5.0 It had that done and I didn't really see it until I wass putting in a OE rear bumper and I thought of my investment. JAS

Both of those look nice. I think the problem is when somebody cuts a whole freaking circle into each side of the bumper. Now that flat out looks nasty.

back in the early 90s, it was very common to see 4'' supertrapps poking through a 5'' hole in a GT bumper cover... i didn't like it then, and i don't like it now... thats flat out nasty

the previous owner of my car did this, it bugged me at first but now its kinda growing on me. kind of a bad shot but you get the picture.

i seen another mustang in town here that had 2 huge circles cut in the middle section of the bumper looked like ****

There's no melting. I did a half circle, then put a rubber molding into the cut to make it look better. The tips fit perfectly and made it look molded right in. I loved that look...

That's not bad, I've never been one for LX tips under the GT bumper, to me they look too small and low. I guess to each his own though, a bunch of guys hated my cutouts and told me to get a Cobra bumper. The only reason I have one now is because of the accident.

Well, lets put it this way.....he's gotten a pretty even positive and negative review of a cut GT bumper, but not one person said that a Cobra bumper looked bad. Although some of the ones posted on here don't look bad like that, I'm still not a fan. I personally think yours looks much better with them slung underneath Axeman. .....as said before, it's just the speed bumps and the high curbs you've got to watch for.

In Canada it was a marketing ploy for Ford of Canada, it was just a sticker package. Mine came from the factory with the Cobra sticker package, it's just a GT nothing special

yep when i ran the vin on my car when i bought it, i thought the guy was trying to pull one on me, cause i know theres no 88 cobra, then i researched it, and sure enough its just a sticker
