Well I am a cop and not afraid to let everyone know. Yeah most of us will not screw with a stang because it does sound good and amplifies what is under the hood. Whereas the little rice burners just throw on a supertrap and think they are the ****, when really they sound like a go-ped on steriods...those really annoy us! I run an o/r x and have never had any issues...only compliments from fellow occifers...

When I first moved down to Florida I was pulled over by a Deputy who was behind me for a while than pulled me over. He looked uder the car and said to put the original pipe back on. I put it back on.
2 years later I am now a Deputy, and my O/R Pipe is back on

never got pulled over for being to loud or anything, just a pedal motion by the cops left hand.

I run ford racing headers, bbk offroad x pipe without mufflers, sounds awesome, nothing like the sound of the pipes popping and rattling after you rev it up

It all depends on where you live, i know in jersey the cops are starting to check exhaust at checkpoints now. they used to just make sure you were wearing a seat belt and inspection sticker eas good...now cause of these damn ricers and freagin fart cannons everyone is going to have to suffer..so if you live in a stricter state(ask a local to get a gauge of your area) i'd suggest a nice mid pipie with high flow cats.
