http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOOD...emQQcategoryZ33646QQihZ014QQitemZ330158713359 I'm curious if anyone has purchased bumpers and / or hoods from them. I think if I get good responses back, im going to start buying my cobra conversion stuff.

Ok not everyone respond at once please, we wouldn't want to crash the server. Really though someone here must have heard something about this place. Anyone?

Your car is practically stock. Why not sell it and buy a real Cobra. It'd be a lot less effort, and you wouldnt end up with a Fobra.

It's times like this when Stangnet is the most helpful . You know it would be a lot less effort to not type anything at all, then to not answer my question. Hundreds of GT's have done this conversion, just because I want to doesn't mean I should sell my GT and get a Cobra, and this is coming from someone that has a Mach 1 chin spoiler. Maybe you should have sold your GT and bought a real Mach 1, now you just have a FACH 1.

Really though, anyone else bought from this website? Any info relating to the question would be helpful.

I'm gonna wait for an answer because I am wanting to ditch my stock '99 GT hood for either a Cobra one or a cowl hood.

Mrbodykit.com has hoods at a similar price but IDK about their quality either..

Wow. Thats some crazy stuff. Nice.

Plenty of folks have Mach chins on this site. We arent trying to do a "Mach 1" conversion! I just have a tastefully modified GT thanks... I dont call it anything but a GT. Thats what it is.

I was being perfectly honest. Youll spend a ton of cash doing body work and then add Cobra badges to your 2V when you could buy a REAL Cobra for the same amount of money, and have a 4V and IRS.

Before this goes any further, this is just a reminder to keep the responses back and forth civil. Silvergto2, you're going to have to be patient and take the constructive criticism at face value. 007 wasn't trying to rip on you, he was only stating the obvious. You’ve got to learn to take the bad with the good when the responses come in and not get so offended when you don’t like the answer.

...and for the record, no, I've never dealt with them. But at the very least you got a bump to the top out of it.

First off, it's my bad when I said "Cobra Conversion" I meant the front bumper and possibly hood, nothing more, that's why the link is to a bumper. I didn't realize that people would think I was going to impersonate a Cobra with badges, etc . Secondly, to my credit, i've been apart of this message board for some time and over and over again I see ridiculous responses posted when people ask serious questions when its not necessary, hence why 99% of the time I search for my answers and don't post at all. I don't mind criticisim at all when I ask for opinions, (i'm married, i get criticized all the time) . But as I read my initial question, I don't ask for any opinions whether or not it's cool to put a cobra bumper on a gt or not or how much is it going to cost me, I ask if anyone has dealt with a specific company. The only reason I bumped it a couple of days ago was I was surprised not to get any responses when usually you get quite abit on here, and usually it's really helpful information. Look I'm not trying to get anyone mad, i'm simply making a point, post something useful or don't post. Then it saves everyone time.

I have and they came through pretty well. I've only bought Cobra foglights but never and hoods or body panels.

THANK YOU!!!!! I appreciate the response. I could go the route of jivepepper and get the prepainted bumper but since I would like the hood as well, i'm worried about the paint matching and therefore would like to get them both primed and then have a local bodyshop paint them. I've heard that silver is kinda hard to match perfectly. BTW, the cobra bumper Maza4ever14 has is basically the look i'm going for. Beautiful car!
