Has anyone installed or used the front flaps Ford lists as splash guards for the 05-up GTs? These have a F6 part # (1996).

I was wondering how you installed them and how much they extend past the fender and below the rocker panel.

The closest thing I have as a reference is the vehicle accessorizer pictures at fordaccessoriesstore.com

I was told that the guards do not fit the front.

They aren't direct-fit, but are listed as available splash guards at the official Ford Accessory store webpage (www.fordaccessoriesstore.com)

If it were to work, the installer has to drill 2 holes into the flaps for the rivet fasteners or alternatively, drill into the fender itself.

On the site in one place it says flat are for front or back. When you go to the item itself, it says rear only.

I tried to order both and they only sent rear splash guards. Was told they don't make them for the front. Don't believe you really need them for front. If your worried about the rocker panels, get the 3M paint protection product. If you get the whole "protection package" will cost about $700.00, but it is pre-cut for the body style. Should be able to get just the rocker panel part.

I wish Ford made molded guards for the front. I'm not too worried about the rocker panels though. I could always buy the V6 rocker panels, IIRC?

I think the V6 rocker panels look best and will hold up better than the painted GT.
