Its getting hotter and my engine temp seems to be rising with the outside temp. I have spied a new engine coolant called "Evans NPG+". It is a propylene glycol based coolant vs. the traditional ethylene glycol based coolant. It is supposed to have a 369 degree F boiling point which virtually eliminates over-heating. Has anyone tried this new coolant yet? If so how much does it cost and does it work?

It costs about $20 a bottle if I remember correctly. You don't mix it with water. I think it's also supposed to reduce the engine temp by a few degrees. But you have to use their water pump and thermostat. Maybe you should make sure everything in your current system is good before putting all that money into different coolant.
