lately, ive had some stupid problems with the stang, like some stupid rattling inside the engine, sounds like its knocking hard. So I check and double check the rockers, take the lifters out, check the pushrods, all are fine. Problem is it has no balls what so ever, drove it last night, and would barely spin the treads in the rain, WTF!!! It is also smoking a little whiteness due to the stupid valve seals, anyway on with the point, what would cause this crap? I know the valve seals are bad but, it just has no balls, and it misses and pops and just runs like crap!!! Checked the mass air, cleaned that, timing looks to be dead on. Im over confused, I would like to blow it to hell right now im so pissed!!!

any thoughts oppinions, constructive critisism would be appreciated!!

Go back to basics!!!! compression test and power balance test. it sound. to me you may have blown a head gasket usally white smoke is antifreze burning which would indicate blown head gasket the knocking could be a spun bearing, cracked piston skirt, holed piston, broken wristpin. From what you describe you are looking in all the wrong places and it is a mechnical problem.

hope this helps

I did a comp test, 120 all across the board. Im getting blow by also, coming out of the oil cap. Yer from west palm? I bought this thing in west plam? You prolly seen it before!!

If you are getting blow by then its not sealing in the cylinders some where and the compresion test should be redone using the 4 puff method:

pull all the plugs and coil wire so no spark of coarse I am sure you know that.

1. first puff or campression stroke will tell you the condiction of the valves

2

3

4 will tell you total compression

Then if all looks good still move on to a cylinder leakage test which is when you fill the cylinder with compressed air on the compression stroke. and watch for a loss in pressure and listen to where th air leakes from (inkake, exhaust, oil cap, and you can hear if the is any air coming from the other cylinders and also pop the radiator cap off and watch for bubbles.)You will be aloted a few pounds of drop but you will know it when you find the problem. If you hear air in the intake then the valves need to be done same with exhaust if you hear air leaking from the oil cap as you stated then you need to get the tool belt out and start pullen heads same wit if you hear air in other cylinders or bubbles in the radiator Im sure you know what that means.
