have you ever had one of those days? you know where you wished you would have stayed in bed .
well today was one of those days > I started by trying to remove the drain plug from my trans to get it ready to pull > well after some swearing and a breaker bar it did come out > the next thing was to put the car on jack stands > well as I was trying to do this my son found it the right time to PI$$ me off by nagging the crap out of me and in my rust > I didn't set the jack under the motor cross member the right way and as the car got about a foot off the ground it sliped >![Eek! :eek: :eek:](/mustang-forums/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/eek.png)

yep the oil pan cought it perfictly ? and crushed right flat against the motor >
one of my questions is how can I change the pan ? > do I have to pull the motor to do this ? or can I just unbolt the motor mounts and lift the motor ? the trans will be out during this little side trip > and I will be putting my long tube headers on . > p.s. will and mustang gt oil pan fit my motor or does it have to be a cobra pan >
and if I get a t-45 / sohc 4.6 gt tranny and split the 1-4 section from the 5th-r section and use my 5th-r section off my t-45 will the parts interchange ?
