Having a bad day

so i started to take apart my car 91 gt, so i could put on a frpp a/c delete kit sounds easy right? well got all the bolts out but a long one that goes through the p/s pump into the head and i cant get the damn bolt out it started turning but its pulling some kind of sleeve out with it? what do i do keep pullin out or what? need help fast! thanks guys!!!

Hi!

When I replaced my power steering pump bracket, I had the same issue. I turned the bolt and allowed the sleeve to come out with it. I purchased a new sleeve from cjponyparts.com and then replaced the bolt with a new one. Put the sleeve in first (it's also threaded) and then put in your new bolt! Good luck!!!

i have also had those come out when removing the long stud. ford calls them thermactor plugs. after getting it out, i placed it in a vice and was able to remove the stud from the plug. then chase the threads in the head and on the plug. then reinstall the plug first, then the stud.
