I just got done mating the 302 and C4 back together and they both spun free by hand before but not I can spin either after I bolted them back together and placed starter on. Tried to bump it with starter and all I get is a click. Dunno at this point. Anyone had this issue?
The most common thing is that you might not have got the convertor seated all the way before you put them together. The convetor should always be loose in the flexplate holes until you put the nuts on the the studs. Other things that it might be not having any more info to go on. Bad/wrong starter, someone left the pilot bearing in the crank.
