New alternator 3G, 130A with a new battery. Upgraded the wiring via the install specs on popular sites, and the ****ing thing still isn't charging. 12 volts with the car off, 12 volts with the car on, I don't know what the **** to do. Any ideas?
Took the car to the shop, guy said the ignition wire on the alternator harness wasn't getting any power. I guess it's the wire that runs to the back of the speedometer for the battery light (he says). Does a 92 mustang even have a battery light in the cluster? He's just going to re-wire it.
