Hey all I just got done replacing my oil pan gasket and I am having trouble getting the two trans mount bolts lined up. I took them out so I could jack up the engine and I cant get the holes on the mount and trans to line back up. I tried to jack the trans up a little to get them started but that didnt help. Then I tried sticking a screwdriver in one of the holes to get the other started but that didnt work. Then I tried loosening the other two bolts with the nuts on them for some wiggle room. That didnt help either. I called it quits for the night and am just looking for some help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try disconnecting the cross member, attaching it to the transmission lossely, and the sliding back up in. also try loosening the engine mounts while you do this if it doesn't work the first time.

Thanks for the help. I went back today and loosened the crossmember and the other mount bolts and I was able to wiggle everything back in. Now onto the next project.
