Engine Head Gap Allowed?

Does anyone know what the gap allowed when checking the cylinder heads for gaps is for a 99 mustang gt???? Been watching videos and seems like it had to be less than 2 thousandth of an inch under straight edge with gap tool

Ford's factory shop manual says:

CAUTION: Cylinder head machining or milling is not authorized by the Ford Motor
Company. Cylinder head flatness must be within 0.0254 mm (0.001 in) across a 38.1 mm
(1.5 in) square area.

This is for an '03. I don't have a manual for '99.

Yea apparently like 350 from around here. They quoted that for cleaning, resurfacing, and pressure checking them......NOPE!
