I am building a 306 with DSS flat tops, 0 deck with TW heads and I was wondering what are some GOOD head gaskets to get. I was going to go with Felpro 1011-2(Trick Flow recomendation) but I wanted to see if there were any better.

I will not be using Cometic due to what has happened in another thread. (gcomfx.com)

I think the best set out their has to be the 40032, 40033, 40034 choices from Milodon. You can search on these and find the correct thickness. Each of the numbers above are the 302-351W with a 4.000 to a 4.060 bore, but have a .040 to .060 choice. Research these and you will find their uses in every type of race application. They may be overkill for your application though with the price. I think a Felpro 1011-2 or even the Permatorque 9333PT-1 should be fine though.

Fel Pro 9333pt-1. For some reason this cheap gasket is always recommended by lots of machine shops. They're like 50 bucks I think for the pair. I got mine locally at the machine shop around the corner from me after I blew a head gasket last summer.

I've got 8548-PT2 on my car, work good and take abuse. Just did a build and used 9333-PT1. I would recommend either, cannot beat the price.

ROL .039" gasket is the best quality gasket I have seen personally.

$50 for a pair.
