i pulled the valve covers off my 302 and the numbers stamped into are CP 114 and 2K28. can anyone tell me what heads these are?

Do you know anything about them? The 2k28 looks like a date code to me, but if it is, it would be from October, 1972. So ya got me!

I thought the casting number was cast under the runners,some were in between one of the push rod holes.

i think i just read somewhere that i have take the head off and look under it for the casting numbers.
