Hello here is my dilema!

The cam that i have in my shortblock (nx264) requires a spring seat pressure of 130 @ 1.75 and 280 @ 1.25 . I have a set of springs which are exactly what i need but dont have the retainers that came with them i only have the ones from the stock 5.0 springs.. Now i noticed on the stock heads that the retainers that hold the spring down have play of about a 32nd or a inch or so from the inside of the spring to the retainer .
My question is how much "slop" can you have ? Since the new springs have a slightly larger inside diameter there is about a 16th of a inch of play (twice as much as the stock springs and retainers had) will this work or will i break something by doing this? I dont see what could happen bad other then have the spring move around a bit but they will be under pressure so it should be at a minimum..
Also does anyone know how much seat pressure stock valves can handle?

Thanks
