Head Swappers get in here

I found a pair of 99 PI heads with valve covers and intake for $250.00. The heads have 57k on them. What should I do before strapping them on? Was thinking of having the valves changed and maybe getting comp cams. What else should I do? What else will I need to do the install?

probably send them to a machine shop so they can check them for leaks. they can also clean them up and make all the surfaces perfectly flat.

How about a port and polish job while there at the machine shop??
