I am embarassed to say that I can't remember if I have to uninstall my CD unit (Aftermarket Alpine) to get the trim off that is around the stereo and heater controls. I am looking to repaint the interior dash trim pieces, and can't recall if the deck needs to come out or if I can just remove the trim around it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think you just have to remove the shifter bezel thing, then undo 2 screws under the bottom DIN area. Then the thing pops out.

Not certain, but I'm pretty sure.
