Head unit install

so im installing my head unit, i got the power plug and illuminate and everything hooked up, but i don't know where to plug the speakers, the installer told me it was one slot, but the speakers don't work, anyone help me here? 00 coupe.

Hmmmm...did you have Mach 460 or just regular factory units? Units meaning, did you have AM/FM Cassette and seperate CD? Also...did you get a wire kit so you could just plug into your existing plugs without having to splice and cut?

But I hear ya on this headache. I had the same problem with my 96 coupe. I could get my radio working, but no sound. After many hours and investigation, I found out that my 96 Coupe at one time had Mach 460 system that was removed who knows when before I purchased the car. Then I found out they did a hack job when they pulled the 460 system so I eventually had to run speaker wires to the doors and rear speakers.
