well here is the situation: I am having a TCP power rack, Front coilover suspension and subframe connectors with the xframe installed. http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/images/Suspension/PKG-SFC-01_AT.jpg

i found out to have the xbrace installed i will have to go with a custom installed exhaust setup. since i am gonna do this i figured I may as well put headers on it.. I am looking for a good ceramic coated header that wont have any clearance issues with the TCP rack. I looked at the Tri-y but it needs a power steering bracket modiication. for now i am going to reuse my stock pump on the car, i have considered adding the KRC pump later on if needed.
I would prefer responses from people who have TCP's power rack and the subframe connectors

Well I don't have the rack but you said no clearance issues on headers right? I have had ceramic coated Hooker SuperComps on my car for 4 or 5 years and they still look great.....

I have no issues with them so far....

I wish I could say the same about my Rack & Pinion.... If Flaming junk doesn't take this heap back I will be giving it away......

Look for FPA (Ford Performance Applications) headers. They clear R&P, and clutch cables setups. No drop bracket needed for stock P/S. The tightest headers I've seen. They don't hang lower than my frame rails. Excellent craftmanship and quality. They are made to order.

Be prepared to break out the check book though.

also i probably should note this is an early 65 coupe... 289 4bbl could i put hipo manifolds on it?
if worse comes to worse i may just get some new stock intake manifolds and have the custom exhaust built from there.

I also just remembered my driver side inner fender panel/shock tower has been replaced at one point and I had to take my adjustable monte carlo bar to a machine shop to be shortened. the shock towers sit in almost an inch and a half closer than 2 other coupes i looked at.. looks like the JBA shorties are out.... Im leaning towards Ceramic Coated TRI-Y's and getting the power steering bracket.

This summer I straightened my frame up front. Its really not that hard. you can block you car at the factory connecting points and use a bottle jacks at the top of the shock tower and under the lower control arms (with them removed) and twist the towers right. IT actually is pretty easy.
