Header Gasket Replacement???

Is replacing a header gasket extemely difficult....I know that installing headers is no easy task...but I just want to loosen all the bolts and replace the gasket...is it too hard to do w/out lifting the engine...or is it straight forward

BTW: I took my car up to the local muffler shop and they used their little listening tool and told me my headers had a leak...this is why I'm concerned....the guy who did the install lives about 4 1/2 hours away so I don't plan on buggin him to fix it

With your shorties you should be able to loosen the motor mount nuts and just jackthe engine up ALL the way, then squeeze your hands between the K-member and wiggle the nuts off with a 13mm shorty wratcheting wrench. Still....might just be easier to drop the "K".
