Ok well I have a set of MAC headers that are supposed to be direct replacement. Well I was able to get mine out no biggy in ten minutes but upon installation the studes on my stock manifolds did not work for these and the stock header bolts I have dont even fit with these.... I am pretty aggrivated right now! After 2 hours of trying to put them in I just gave up and put the stock ones back in. I am curious if they sell special studs for these headers and if there is any bolts that would make it easier to install these! It is pretty frustrating.

Are they used? if so they're going to be a PITA, the individual flange design likes to warp. I had some old BBK individual flange shorties, and could never get them to line up correctly or stop leaking, so I got some JBA titanium headers.

No they where never installed, just kept in a box for a VERY long time, with a starter sitting on one of them i think, by someone I knew. And well they where given to me for free so thats why i tried to use it. But i am starting to think twice about it now that you said that, Will probably just sell them and get a new set.

I haven't had much of a problem with my mac longtubes...granted....I think I'd rather pull my engine out than replace those headers. Getting to the bolts was horrible. If I used some 12 points it would have been 1000 times easier though

headers are always good for a headache. I installed equal length shorties the first time around, and I remember being super pissed off most of the time.
The second time around, I went with mac LT's and it went a lot better. Of course you have to buy another H or X pipe, I went with a prochamber and it sounded sweet.

good luck.
