Header Wrap...

Does anyone have the thermal wrap for thier longtube headers? Jet hot is pretty expensive and i have heard that the wrap is okay.

I've heat wrapped my headers on other cars, and the stuff is AMAZING, but everyone I've spoken to says the same thing...moisture/condensation gets trapped inside the stuff and it rots, and also causes the headers to rust. Thats what I have been told, but it has not happened to the two sets of headers I heat-wrapped. Sooo ??? Its up to you I guess. Like I said that stuff is AMAZING at how much it will cut down under hood temp, and heat saturation in the engine-bay. You can hold your hand on the header where its wrapped after the car has been running at the track!
