I have been wanting to swap my headers for some better flowing ones...but I have a few stipulations it would have to meet so I am wondering if anyone can help me with this one...number one rule I don't wanna lose any low end power!!! number two I have to be able to bolt on the headers and make no other changes such as piping or what not cause I currently don't have the hugest account I can handle a couple more mods but thats it...so I would need something that could use all the stock pipes and whatnot..would the best thing be some equal length shorties??? I don't know if these require new pipes or what not?? and if so which brand should I use?
Thanks everyone...

Longtubes are out of the question. You have a choice of either equal length or unequal length shorties. The power differences between the two are negligible, and some argue that changing the plugs is easier with unequal length headers. With the proper tools, I can change all my plugs in 15 minutes with equal length headers. IMO, that arguement doesn't hold any water.

BBK and MAC are the brands you should choose from. I wouldn't ask which everyone prefers because it's going to be 50/50. Everyone is going to give you horror stories about each company and it will make the decision that much harder.

What he said...

The power difference between equals and unequals will be very minimal.

Make sure you get a good set of gaskets if you get the headers. The gaskets that came with mine were done in about two weeks, picked up a set from Autozone, Mr.Gaskets I think, no problems, since good luck

hmm after viewing your sig, I would take the money you were gonna put into headers and instead get a cold air system and under drive pulleys, waaaay more bang for your buck. I have MAC ceramic headers, cost 400 bones, and I can honestly say I didn't feel a bit of difference.

go buy a set of used BBK or MAC chrome headers. I picked up my BBK equals for $80 shipped.
