Headers and Xpipe results.

Well, I put on the X Pipe and Headers, haven't gotten on it for real yet but the GT seems a hair stronger. Louder, but maybe only a little faster. I was wondering if anybody out there knows about how much RWHP I picked up with the mod.

wow you should have been much more impressed than that. I picked up 18 RWHP by adding my longtubes, and o/r X over my catted Magnaflow X (while I was still n/a). I could definately tell a difference. What brands did you get ?

Should-a got longtubes with a blower it shoud have been noticeable still. Are you even getting enough traction to tell

with a blower on the difference between longtubes, and shorties I've heard only makes about 5 RWHP difference in favor of the LT's

Why did you go with shorties instead of longtubes?

It's easier to put the stock cats back on. Also for when I upgrade the suspension I wanted to forgo the ordeal of having to yank em' off.

I will eventually go to LT's, but that will come as a final mod, if there is such a thing.

Also remember I have stock tires and wheels, I mean my tires spun all the way through 3rd before headers/x pipe and I'm not really looking to ball my tires.

JBA headers are a pretty nice header for a shorty but they still aren't as good as long tubes.

You usually don't feel power with your exhuast mods in lower rpms. You'll usually feel it once you get on it and get above 3k rpms.
