Headlight switch!!!

So i pushed the button on the headlight switched and removed the knob with the shaft attached. Then i unpluged the headlight switch (took me a while). Now the damn thing is still sitting there. How do i remove it. I've tried pulling but don't want to break it off.

Is the bezel, the one that says "light" on it supposed to come off? Help!! I'm gonna hit it!! AHHHH!!

IIRRc there is a button that you must push on the back of the switch assembly.

its on the upper part

Reread his post HM! On the early cars the bezel spins off after the shaft is removed. I think yours is beveled to fit the contour of the dash though, isn't it?

Thanks, I got it out. Replaced it with a new one and the headlights and brake lights work like a charm. BUT as always something new comes up. My turn signals don't work. Basically when i move the turn signal lever for left and right turn signals nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

-check your steering column harness connectors

-check your bulbs and grounds
