ok tax season is upon us and i'm looking at having a few xtra $...i was thinking of heads and cam, but i friend of mine kept talking about a ps3....what would ya'll do????

lol....well i want to go fast.....i never wanted to be one of the guys waiting in a tent for days to get a video game....i will wait till the price drops dramatically before i waste my money on another game system
lol...i was thinking the same thing.....but the graphics....well in 1 year all the bugs will be out of the system....and the price should drop maybe $10....lol....ok...so i'm thinking twisted wedge heads and stage 1 cam....it'll cost alittle more then the game system....lol

yea i know..they never seem to drop all that much lol but im still rocking my ps2 lol i guess im kinda bias tho i am wanting to get rolling on my motor build so....:SNSign: im gonna push everyone else that route too lol

My buddy bought a PS3 system from Costco. We played the Resistance: fall of Man campaign and finished it in two days. He decided he didn't want it anymore and returned it to costco for a full refund. He also forgot to give back the Talladega Nights Blu Ray that came with it, though its kinda useless now.
All in all, I really liked the PS3. No problems with it working, and Resistance was a freakin awesome game and looked gorgeous. I also own a 360 for comparisons sake.
Oh yeah, and I also HATE the Wii. not because its necessarily bad, but because of all the Wii snobs. "Oh! The Wii PWNS all, and lookie at me, I'm moving the controlers around to play." Whoop-dee freakin' doo. Once the novelty wears off they're stuck with a poor performing system and lackluster games when publishers get tired to having to create games specially for the Wii since it doesn't compare in performance to the 360 and PS3. If I wanted to move around then i'd actually go to the batting cages or the bowling alley. I play video games when I want to sit on my ass and not expend energy. Wii snobs along with the Apple yuppie snobs who think they're more hip/cool/gay-metro just because they have an iMac. No offense to anybody who owns a Wii or buys Apple products...its just the way that the companies portray themselves.

Ill be the first to defend my wii not bassed on the controllers but the fact that Resident Evil Umbreala Cronicals will be out next year only reason i bought the wii.... and the price is great.... the graphics are pretty damn good not as good as a PS3 but the $$$$ to graphics ratio is great.... for high graphic games ill always buy them for PC anyway... The Wii is a good time and zelda is a blast... but i still want an xbox 360. ive always been an x box fan

That's where I think you're wrong, the novelty won't wear off. Nintendo has always had the same way of going about their systems and that's just overall fun and engrossing gameplay. GC games still sell like crazy. Seriously, they sell as many freaking Gameboy Advance games as they did when it first came out. Nintendo used to be compared to the other systems but they've taken their stance further from the others in it's own niche.
For what it's worth, I'm still buying a 360 once I pay off the credit card

Test Drive unlimited is a killer game for any car nut. It's what Gran Turismo should be. Available on the 360 (don't know bout the PS3 or Wii).
The gameplay world is huge, covering the entire island of oaho hawaii. And lots of cars to buy and race!!! If you have a 360, download the demo.

Go with the mods to the car. The PS3 will come down in price. The games are still limited as well. I play my PS2 more than my PS3 right now. I was a lucky bastard that got the luck of the draw for one the night they came out hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.
