Anyone run a heads and cam package on their NA Cobra? I was looking at the setup that Ford Racing offers. Advertise a 60RWHP gain with heads/cam and full exhaust? Now, I'm still learing about the 4.6, I came over to the 'dark side' from the GM camp. Is it just me, or does that seem like a really ****ty gain for $2-3k? Is there much to be had N/A w/ Heads/Cam from other aftermarket vendors, or are you pretty much steered into the FI route to break much over 400horses?

Youre not going to see much gains for the cost of the parts when doing N/A mods on the Modulars. Itll cost you. If you just want cheap hp go nitrous...or a more cost effective method would be going the F/I route.


DOHCs can get over 400rwhp with the right parts n/a if youre willing to spend some $$$.

sorry for the NEWB questions, but what do typical 99/01's dyno with LT's, XorH mid section, cat-back and CAI? about a 30-35RWHP gain over stock?

I'd say about 30rwhp gain.
