Im not worried about getting an extra 50 hp for the same price if i can stay NA. What im looking for is a beast with power all the way through the PB. I have been looking at several cams and several heads but most ads are for the 5.0's out there. Dont seem to find many reviews/numbers on cams and heads for an 03 GT. I take her down the the track like once a month and drive it everyday. Anyone have a good combo to keep it very streetable and still be smokin the "evil" ls1's out there. Oh yah, Im looking for the most aggressive sound i can get while staying as safe as possible.. Thanks again guys, WhiteDevil

check out www.vtengines.com

they also hang around at www.modulardepot.com. They can give you some real nice pointers. With the VT heads, you will still be very streetable.

oh

cams are not what your looking for what you need is a roots blower for power all threw the power band.. cam is going to take power from the bottom and give more at the top and you will rev higher wich means you will need 410s atleast.. id go 430 if I did a cam..

yeah

there is one company doing aftermarket heads.. forgot the name but its really just a stock PI head with bigger intakes and exhaust..

I bet you could make as much power as me but at a higher RPM if you had ported heads cam valves longtubes and a good tune with some 430 gears.. thats some 12 right there hehe..

If you are planning on doing the mongoose kit , I would wait to see how satisfied you are with the numbers Tim gets out of your car first before you plan on doing cams and heads , forged bottom end would be a must before you throw down the numbers that mongoose kit with heads and cams is going to do .

well to get really technical. When you get your heads flowing more CFM, it will allow you to run less boost and probably more timing but that is a maybe.

Not exactly...thats a pretty blanket statement. If you check out our dyno graphs of our N/A cams with stock longblocks, you will see NO loss down low and great gains from 3000rpm up. The stage 1's made 22rwhp peak-to-peak and 30+ at 6000 rpm. The Stage 2's made 29rwhp peak-to-peak and 50+rwhp at 6000rpm.....ON A STOCK 2000GT.

Just a little info for you....
