i am going to go with the p51, i think it looks so ugly it looks bad ass.

im just out of cash now. i will put that some time before the blower goes on.

2500 is decent but id assume that its before labor and tune costs. my parts were only a little more expensive then that before all the extra costs

thats parts...@550 cams, @1900 for heads. I'll do the install at home.

i think the p-51 is butt ugly in the pics, but theres a girl on here/mod depot that has it and it just looks at home in that engine bay. I think after i get the new heads in anf drive it around some i might buy it. I just need to stop spending so much money. My girl thinks i'm nuts...i tell her its this or crack/hookers!

I hope you all know the P-51 is actually a very clean looking unit, the ones in the pics most of you have seen was a pre-production pic. I would be happy to share pics of it on my car when I get it back (which better be this week or someone's gettin )

I bought a used vortech-s with anderson pipe 70mm TB, t-rex and FMU for $1950
easy install, made good power. maybe 310 at motor with x-pipe and PI manifold-(standard vortech setup 6lb max. was lean at more boost).
I revised setup with in-tank pump and 30lb inj. and 80mm MAF and now at 320rwhp with tuning (8+lb).

do upgrading the cams & heads effect the sound of a stang? i should make probably another 1000 dollars to toy around w/ this summer after i get a magnaflow o/r x pipe & tint the windows on the stang...i might go ahead and buy pullies, a CAI, & a accufab plenum/throttlebody and save the rest of the money for my acapulco nights come spring break '06...or maybe if i can afford to install some cams & a tune i might do that too...how are the gains on just a upgraded cam install + tune?

save your money for spring break!!!! you'll never forget them...i know i won't.

but some new mods will be good also. Never made it to Acapulco...did Cancun 2 times and Key west/Miami 1 year.

just for future reference...i was wondering how much it would cost to swap out stock heads & cams to performance ones? and what kind of gains would you get on a 2000 gt after the install?

on a crap tune I put down 310rwhp & 312rwtq with 262ah cams, (very mild cams but are power adder friendly. They have a bigger lsa compared to the VTs) VTs are better for n/a.
