Heads rr pr

i want to change my heads. i was looking at edelbrock performer. should i go 1.6 or 1.7 rr's and what size push rods are the factory ones. and is there anything elses i should change or need to know. i already got e303 and gt40 upper and lower intake

You should decide which rockers you want to run based on how the cam specifications are figured. Most of them are figured with 1.6 rockers (the E303 is one of them).

The type of pushrods you'll need to run are really dependent on whether you use pedestal, or stud mounted heads. I belive the stock pushrods measure 6.250 inches, but I don't remember exactly off hand. If you're running stud mounted rockers, you'll need hardened pushrods, so they don't wear out on the guideplates.
