Heads

I and looking on a head and cam combo, but I can afford to be without my car for two weeks like what most places to me for a port/polish. From what I'm told is that Tommy Vaughn has heads port/polished for $1100. I haven't checked to see what stage or what they're ported to. Can anyone give any feed back on where I can get already port/polished heads from?

Well, I just ordered the sean hyland motorsports heads, cam and everything to install, including 42# injectors. The total with freight was $3075. I'm going to sell my heads and cam off my 99 as soon as I get them installed. If you want the part numbers I can mail them to you. Just send me a message at mustang35thann@hotmail.com

I drop the car off at the shop the first weekend in March. I will also be getting a custom made 6 point roll cage w/ swing outs, change to a posi unit, and going with 31 spline axles. I see good things for this year, except the bank account. I'll send some pictures when I get them.

3 grand seems kind of high with my estimates. I estimate Tommy Vaughn Heads (don't know the numbers just yet on stage, etc) for $1100, SHM cams for about $600, kit for installation for about $300. That comes to $2000. Am I missing anything other than the injectors?

Are the injectors a must for this combo? What's to gain from them?

I'm also adding Mac LT and Prochamber along with the heads and cams. Does anyone have any info concerning the heads from Tommy Vaughn?

You would be the first person I've read that owns them.

Personally, I would stick with a bigger company and pay the extra money. And, don't only go by flow numbers.

The "larger" companies are Fox Lake, TEA, VT, and a few others that don't come to mind right now.

hey man im looking to do the same thing. im looking at patriot performance heads stage 2 and cams. price seems pretty fair, they are under sean h. and higher in price then your guys. what do u guys think about patriot?
