go out and see what those heads can do now! only thing i raced was a f-250 s/d diesel modded...
and i let some cute chick in a 2000 z28 kill me.

With only those mods, you probably didn’t have to let her beat you. She likely could have done it all on her own.

I'm still babying it a bit, but did take'r up to about 5000rpm, it sure rips now!!!
I tried downshifting to 3rd and stomped on it, Wheee Haaa!!! Before the headswap, if I did that, the tach would climb about as fast as a snail with a broken leg, pretty wheezy. I like my car now

yeah but it would have been cool if i did race her and she would've 'raped' me. heh

Nope, nothing on the intake either. Say, I was reading all the cool stuff you have on your car in your sig. very nice

Took the Stang for a good cruise today, runs really nice. Checked the plugs when I got home and they look nice and tan.I think all is well.

As a matter of fact yes!! At least the urge to stomp it wasn't as bad yesterday, but I did buy oil and a filter so I'll be set. I think once I get to 500 miles, I'll do an oil change and then each time I take it out after that, I'll rev it a bit higher until I work my way up to full redline, might take me another 100 miles, but I'd feel better about it.
