at work i was talking to a guy who is a pretty smart car guys, has built some engines and is a GEAR HEAD. I dont doubt him at all.
but here it is.
I mentioned getting subframes for my car and he said to do this.
-buy the bolt on connectors. and install them
-take 4 jackstands and put the whole car in the for like 6 hours, this will enable it to sort of settle down
- go out, loosen all the bolts on the SFCs, retighten them, then weld up the SFC
let the car down. and should be nice and tight
Sounds worth trying. anyone heard of stuff like this?
