Resolved Tapping sound on passenger side of engine

Update for everyone: I got tired of dealing with these headers as I haven’t had great luck with my two set of BBKs so I bought some JBA headers and today I finally got time to start changing them out. After pulling the passenger header, I was able to immediately see the source of the leak.

Not sure how I missed this the first time but sure enough on the second primary to flange connection there’s a pretty big crack. Day light can be seen all the way through. Guess that explains the horrible sound lol

A final update for everyone: had to stop working on the car for a couple months due to some personal issues outside of my control but I finally got the JBA headers on today. They’re surprisingly not as easy to put on as the BBKs were but they are much better quality. Had to unbolt the H pipe from the tail pipes to get everything to fit up right and JBA uses bolts and nuts rather that studs and nuts so that was a little frustrating

Car sounds great and fired right up just like nothing ever happened.
