Has anyone ever heard of removing the fog lights of a 85 mustang and useing dryer hose to go from the fog light holes to the 2 spots in the breather as to get "MORE AIR" You would also screen the holes for dirt etc.. ??

Heard of it, but never have seen anyone get real significant gains from it. Be careful about ducting hose too close to the ground; engines don't like it when those things suck up water.

I removed my fogs and plan on ducting in to my tranny cooler which is mounted behind the pass fog light and my oil cooler behind the drivers fog. I figure put a screen over the front and it will protect them from rocks and crap.

I have not seen the set up but dryer hose is ribbed I guess so are you saying all the air would leak?? If so could you route abs plastic tube or something?? Connecting to the breather may not be simple with tube but would the extra air really do much on a street car? Someone I know says try it but I don't like doing something for nothing you know??
